I know that many people have severe phobia of flying, but I have always secretly hoped that I would be in a plane crash. Don’t worry, these aren’t suicidal thoughts. My fantasy includes the plane crashing on a tropical island, me suffering little to no injury, and then being “forced” to live the rest of my days on the island. I guess it could also be a shipwreck. Either way.
Point is, I love traveling, exploring, and anything that has to do with being immersed in the beautiful outdoors, and the thought of trying to survive in the wild gets me giddy as a little boy on christmas morning. It’s on my bucket list to take a survival course and put myself to the test.
My aspiration is to use this blog to be able to share with you the things I really love to do – climbing, hiking, camping, traveling, exploring, etc – and give you valuable insight into where to go, how to do it, and the best way to go about it. I also expect to receive some exceptional suggestions from your experiences as well, so please comment and share!
Along with being a child-like explorer, I am also a lucky husband and proud father. In March of 2012 I was married to my junior high sweetheart and became an “insta-dad” to a sweet and sassy little girl who was 2 years old at the time. Now I get to explore life with my 2 beauties.
Please feel free to email me anytime at firstname.lastname@example.org. I hope to hear from you!
